Nestled Doula Support

The postpartum stage is a time of deep adjustment - a blur of emotions, love, exhaustion, and discovery. Your body feels different, your heart feels wider, and each day brings new lessons. It’s a time of healing, learning to care for your baby while remembering to care for yourself, too. It's about finding your rhythm, one precious moment at a time. Your postnatal package is designed with this in mind.

Initial 1 hour visit

If we have not worked together before, it is important that we get to know one another. In this initial 1 hour appointment, I will visit you at home and listen to your pregnancy and birth experience (if you are comfortable talking about this). We will explore what your individual postnatal needs are, and how I can support you over the course of our time together. I will leave you feeling confident and reassured that you will be supported going forward. 

4 x Postnatal Visits (3 hours per visit)

These sessions are lead by you and tailored to your specific needs, focusing on whatever feels most helpful and supportive for you, on that day. They are a chance for you to slow down, reflect, and get practical help as you settle into life with your new baby.

We’ll talk through how you’re feeling, what’s going well, and any challenges you’re facing. I will signpost you to appropriate resources, whether that’s guidance on recovery, emotional wellbeing, or practical parenting tips.

Your postnatal visits can include practical support with feeding, soothing techniques, and newborn care, or light household tasks such as washing up, sorting the laundry or preparing meals. Having me take care of these small tasks means you can have more space and energy to rest, recovery, and focus on bonding with your baby.

Once your four postnatal visits are complete, and you feel confident and happy to continue without extra support, we’ll conclude our time together and I will leave you with my very best wishes.
